The Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Department at the Central site employs 13 consultants, whilst the UHSM site employs 7 consultants to provide a general hospital ENT service for the population of Manchester as well as tertiary services in the subspecialties of laryngology, otology, hearing implants, rhinology, and head and neck cancer surgery. Both sites have an in-patient ward as well as an elective treatment centre for elective surgical admissions. Someday case surgery also takes place at Trafford hospital as well as several outpatient clinics.
Main duties of the job:
To provide a clinical service in ENT, specialising in the delivery of the Rhinology Service across Manchester Royal Infirmary and University Hospital South Manchester. The post will involve working closely with the Consultants, nursing staff, allied health professionals and the rest of the wider ENT team.

Candidate Requirements:
- Medical Degree
- Four years postgraduate training of which at least two years will have been in an ENT specialty training program or equivalent
