We are working with a highly successful and fast-growing retailer who is looking for a Senior Ladieswear Buyer to join their dynamic team. The Senior Ladieswear Buyer will spearhead the development of on-trend, commercial ranges.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing new strategies aimed at overall improving ranges
- Regularly reviewing products and range plans, ensuring cohesion across departments
- Working closely with factories overseas and negotiating cost prices
- Collaborating with the merchandising team to manage budgets and monitor sales
- Planning and building commercial ranges
- Attending sign-off meetings, trade meetings, and presenting ranges
- Carrying out extensive trend research and attending comp and inspiration shopping trips
