Senior HR Generalist – International Operations
Location: Johannesburg, Gaborone, Dar es Salaam, London, Bamako, Jersey | Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for working across borders and cultures? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior HR Generalist to support international HR functions across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, USA, West Africa, and beyond.

This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering HR strategies that align with global business objectives while remaining compliant with local legislation. You will act as a key partner to international leadership, offering insight and support on all areas of human resources from employee relations and talent acquisition to performance management and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior leaders across global offices to deliver HR strategies that drive business success.
2. Ensure local HR practices align with international policies and meet regional compliance requirements.
3. Lead initiatives across performance management, engagement, compensation reviews, and talent development.
4. Manage complex employee relations issues and collaborate with local legal advisors where necessary.
5. Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for international hires.
6. Champion the use of data-driven insights to improve HR processes and decision-making.

About You:

1. Minimum 8 years\’ HR experience, including 3+ years supporting international operations.
2. Strong understanding of employment legislation in jurisdictions such as South Africa, UK, Jersey, Cote D\’Ivoire, and Mali.
3. Fluent in both French and English.
4. Skilled in working across cultures, time zones, and diverse teams.
5. A collaborative, proactive problem solver with excellent communication and project management skills.
6. Degree in Human Resources or related field; international HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) a plus.
