Due to high project demand and our client striving for business growth within their Interiors Division, they are looking to expand their estimating department by bringing in a new addition to the team with a strategic plan to become a key member of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
- Assisting in establishing a clientβs requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Performing risk and value management and cost control.
- Able to read drawings and perform take offs.
- Advising on procurement strategy.
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
- Allocating work to subcontractors.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years Fit Out experience. Degree qualified preferred. Most importantly, the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious, and keen to progress their career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
