Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to progress within the building services industry by joining one of the UK’s largest multidisciplined consultancies. The successful candidate will be exposed and allowed to take the lead on a diverse range of projects in their Leeds offices.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the design team and help deliver designs of projects from inception to completion
- Liaise with Architects, Structural Engineers, and external project teams, as well as attending a range of group and technical meetings
- Provide highly technical advice to clients on energy use to reduce environmental impact and carbon footprint
- Use industry standard software such as Revit and CAD to design project required systems
Qualifications:
- Relevant building services degree, ideally CIBSE accredited
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience within a relevant role within the building services industry
- CIBSE chartership or working towards it
- Experience with IES or Revit software would be beneficial
