Job Description:

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading Cleantech consultancy that helps clients & communities navigate the energy transition. They combine technical expertise with client and partner capabilities to address complex environmental challenges.

The client recognizes the changing global energy landscape and aims to lead this change. They are seeking highly skilled & motivated Senior Electrical Engineers to join their team, focusing on advancing BESS as a key part of a net-zero carbon future. This includes procuring and delivering energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concept and detailed designs, including layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), communication block diagrams, P&IDs, functional descriptions, and operating philosophies.
• Conduct techno-economic modelling and optimisation/sizing studies for microgrids and hybrid systems (e.g., solar, wind, BESS), considering site and network constraints.
• Conduct site inspections of energy storage assets during and upon project completion, including creating and completing ITP/ITR during FAT/SAT.
• Provide innovative technical solutions for projects, collaborating with Power Service Line Leaders/Coordinators as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor\’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting
• Chartered or pursuing chartered status
• Strong team player who shares information openly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
