We seek a seasoned Payroll professional with payroll service management experience, leadership skills, and the ability to implement standardized processes in a shared services environment.
In this role, you will:
- Assess Global McD Payroll landscape and define short-term and long-term global Payroll solution architecture and strategy for McDonald’s.
- Identify & align on future state Payroll solutions, operating model, and organizational structure for McDonald’s to implement.
- Define roadmap and Program plan to implement & activate Global Payroll strategy.
- Drive execution of defined Payroll solution architecture & strategy globally, partnering cross-functionally with Finance, People, and Market Leadership.
- Integrate & support Payroll-related deployment activities across Finance and People functions as they both look to modernize their capabilities.
- Manage and oversee Global Payroll operations teams across Markets.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and local payroll/labor regulations & laws.
- Oversee payroll audits, as needed.
- Lead and develop payroll teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support standardization & shared initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field; certified payroll professional (CPP) preferred.
Professional Experience & Skills:
- Significant track record in payroll service management, with a proven record of managing Payroll operations.
- Knowledge of Payroll solutions: marketplace, and best practices in terms of Payroll systems, operating models, and regulatory environment across counties, with the ability to use data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
- Proven success in defining payroll strategies and managing payroll operations for global companies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of leading payroll processes; strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to payroll.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with company standards and global payroll regulations, as well as payroll audits.
- Change agent by nature demonstrating an appetite for driving transformational change & challenging status quo.
- Superior organization skills and ability to identify key connections and manage relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading & working in a matrixed environment & program - ability to proactively manage, support, and delegate work across team members.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
- Passion for leveraging technology to enhance processes and create better experiences.
