Senior DevOps Engineer (CI/CD IaC Python SQL) *London onsite* to £180k+
Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer with a software engineering background? You could be progressing your career working on complex and challenging systems at a Hedge Fund with over $17 billion under management.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join a small team that minimizes operational risk and enables the wider technology team to be more efficient by focusing on identifying and exploiting automation opportunities, including ownership of development pipelines, production environment automation, Continuous Integration, deployment, and monitoring. You’ll also collaborate with the Core Architecture team, helping to evolve and scale the supporting infrastructure within an IaC environment.
Location / WFH:
You’ll join the team in fantastic London (Soho) based offices that offer a wide range of facilities including nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch, and all-day snacks. Please note this role is full-time office-based (Monday to Friday).
About you:
- You have an outstanding record of academic achievement – minimum 2.1 in a STEM discipline from a top tier university (i.e. Russel Group or top 100 global university), backed by A grades at A-level.
- You have a software development background with C# and/or Python coding skills.
- You have strong PowerShell (or other scripting language) skills.
- You have experience with CI/CD using TeamCity.
- You have strong SQL database experience.
- You have a good knowledge of IaC – Terraform, Ansible, and Containerization using Docker, orchestration via Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- You have advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
