As a Senior Brand Designer, you will wield creativity as your primary tool, shaping and refining brands through the lens of innovation and strategic vision. Your expertise will involve crafting compelling visuals and strategically guiding the evolution of brand narratives. You will be the guardian of consistency, ensuring every design element aligns seamlessly with a brand strategy. With a nuanced understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour, you will be at the forefront of creating a brand presence that is digital-first and motion-led.
In this role, you will be a pivotal force, translating abstract concepts into tangible experiences that touch on all the senses. Driven by attention to detail, you will work with our corporate clients to help build their brand, focusing on meticulous details from designing assets to setting rules for animation systems and guidelines.
Collaborating closely with Design and Creative Directors, you\’ll set direction and develop creative concepts to deliver transformative brand work. You are curious to learn—whether about new innovations and technology to elevate our work or about the forces shaping our world now and into the future.
Instrumental in the creation of Future Brands, you will:
- Deliver exceptional and insightful creative solutions for your clients.
- Understand every aspect of your client’s business; show a real passion for their brand and the industry.
- Lead creative conversations and contribute to strategic ideas, confidently interpreting and using them as a springboard to create strong, differentiated brand solutions.
- Help define and align with client strategies across multiple clients, articulating the strategy and thinking behind the work.
- Deeply understand your clients\’ businesses and how projects fit into the bigger brand strategy.
- Steer and shape project processes, providing relevant references from inside and outside the category.
- Inspire and foster open, honest relationships with your clients.
- Develop processes to deliver a more connected brand experience and confidently promote the wider FutureBrand Group offer.
- Champion creativity and inspire the team by sharing trends and innovative campaigns, establishing yourself as a thought leader.
- Push creative boundaries, bringing external ideas to create connected brand experiences.
- Engage in research beyond advertising, visiting galleries and exhibitions for inspiration.
A collaborator, building strong relationships, you will:
- Engage in creative discussions with Strategy and Client Service colleagues, encouraging positive collaboration to produce the best work.
- Work collaboratively within deadlines, open to feedback and improvements.
- Manage upward and downward effectively, providing leadership and guidance to designers and team members.
- Lead and inspire multiple designers, advising on project delivery and demonstrating leadership.
- Share your experience by mentoring team members and helping shape their development.
- Contribute to a collaborative, energized atmosphere that encourages positive disruption.
- Build relationships within the wider FutureBrand Group and associated networks.
Nurture the growth and health of your clients\’ business:
- Communicate strategic-led creative ideas effectively to deliver delightful, on-budget, and timely projects.
- Trust your instincts when reviewing work, and offer a unique point of view.
- Defend your work passionately and know when to push back on clients, explaining and defending ideas clearly.
- Experiment with new approaches to develop our offerings and deepen client relationships.
- Manage time effectively, including for yourself and junior team members, maintaining fluid communication with management and clients.
- Ensure your work and ideas are practical and impactful.
- Build compelling case studies to showcase our work to the wider design community.
- Potentially lead smaller pitches, motivating and inspiring junior creatives.
