Job Opportunity: Senior Data Scientist

A globally leading technology firm is seeking a hands-on, engineering and data-focused Senior Data Scientist to join their engineering team in London.

Role Overview:

In this heavily data-driven role, working with platforms capable of handling over 15 million queries per second and multiple petabytes of data, the successful candidate will join a highly agile, London-based engineering team. The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with the business, collaborating directly with engineers, product managers, and researchers. The role involves end-to-end responsibilities including design, architecture, development, and delivery.

Requirements:

1. MSc or BSc in Computer Science, AI, ML, Mathematics, Physics, or a related hard science subject
2. Commercial experience as a Data Scientist
3. Interest and/or experience with NLP, Machine Learning, graph mining, algorithm optimization, causal inference, etc., is beneficial
4. Programming experience with Python, Scala, Java, or strong knowledge of another object-oriented or functional language
5. Experience with AWS, Spark, SQL
