Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a senior analyst who will lead the client’s analytical work on this exciting project.

Position Details:

• 23 month FTC
• Brighton (hybrid – 6 days per month/remote)

The senior analyst role is pivotal to the success of this project. You will:

• Lead and manage analysis for the project, coordinating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries, including managing expectations and engaging / obtaining consensus from multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactively identify, design and deliver analysis of complex data sets to inform the delivery of the project, including making recommendations on the basis of your analysis.
• Support the day-to-day rollout of work – for example, identifying which pension scheme administrators need to be contacted each month.
• Be responsible for identifying the most appropriate analytical tools, data and inferences to inform and develop insights.
• Proficiency in application of R or Python, and Power BI or Tableau.
• Able to robustly evaluate data sources for suitability, reliability & accuracy for inclusion in analysis.
• Experience manipulating big data and quickly getting up to speed to understand the contents and structure of a complex data warehouse.
• Able to coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders, as an analytical expert, to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Possesses strong communication skills to be able to disseminate complex analysis clearly and accurately across to a non-technical audience.
• Basic understanding of the UK pensions industry.
• Practitioner level knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and AGILE or Dev/Data Ops workflow methodologies.
