Bentley is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join the Total Rewards team. This position will work closely with the Compensation Manager, internal stakeholders, and partners to support day-to-day requests as well as projects and cyclical compensation planning cycles. This role will also support the development and implementation of global compensation programs, ensuring they meet colleagues’ needs, comply with local legal requirements, and are cost-effective.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner teams on proposals for new hire offers, promotions, and market adjustments.
- Conduct job benchmarking analysis, job evaluation, and salary administration to determine appropriate ranges and pricing based on internal and external equity.
- Review job matches, survey data, and prepare survey submissions for participation in various external salary and compensation surveys.
- Participate in a variety of Human Resources and Compensation related analytical projects including the Annual Compensation Planning year-end cycle.
- Support industry market survey submission.
- Provide analytical support for compensation programs, including data analysis and reporting.
- Review survey results and proactively provide the analysis of market trends and recommendations for any changes in our structure or individual adjustments based on the data.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of the organization’s compensation.
- Work on regional and other special projects as assigned.
- This role does not require travel.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of previous experience in compensation program support, including technical knowledge of key compensation fundamentals.
- Experience with compensation tools, Comptryx, IPAS, etc. required.
- Experience with an automated HRIS system, preferably Workday, is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and excellent skills in Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Sound logic and reasoning skills to identify, develop, evaluate alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- High degree of attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
