Key Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements, and development projects.
- Advising clients on a broad range of commercial property issues, delivering pragmatic, commercially driven legal solutions.
- Leading negotiations and preparing complex contracts, leases, and associated documentation.
- Offering strategic legal advice on investment and property portfolio management to support long-term client goals.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key contact point for commercial property matters.
- Supporting the development of junior team members through mentoring and supervision.
- Keeping abreast of legal developments and market changes to ensure clients receive current and strategic guidance.
- Contributing to the wider growth of the firm through business development and networking activities.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
- Proven track record handling high-value, complex transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to cultivate client trust and loyalty.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring teams is desirable.
- Commercially astute, proactive, and strategically minded.
- Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with changes in the legal landscape.
