A Microbiologist Scientist in Water Microbiology (Band 6) is required to support the ongoing growth and development of the environmental water surveillance activities at the Environmental Research Laboratory. The role aims to attract new business and introduce innovative practices.

- Maintaining the existing water testing portfolio (Pseudomonas, Legionella)
- Environmental surveillance in hospitals
- Acquiring new diagnostic methodologies such as rapid ID and molecular tools
