Due to significant growth in the Arcadis Defence sector, we are recruiting for positions working alongside our client organisation and in client-side roles, to deliver a wide range of high-profile projects. Due to the nature of these projects, existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting financial, quality, and timeframe objectives, and exceeding client expectations. You will work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution and participate in developing technical proposals. You will also present technical solutions to clients.
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead reviews of project deliverables on behalf of the mechanical engineering discipline and manage project teams of up to 5 people, ensuring work is allocated appropriately, resources are fully utilized, and issues are resolved.
Qualifications & Experience:

- You have strong technical abilities with experience in designing structural elements of building projects.
- Chartered, or near chartered.
- Familiarity with commonly used analysis software.
- The ability to run small projects (up to £5 million value) independently.
- Existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance is essential.
- Heavy Civils / Reinforced Concrete structures experience is desirable.
