Job Summary: This Civil and Structural Consultancy seeks an experienced Civil Engineer, ideally at Senior level, to join their Residential Civils Hub, based in Warrington.
Key Skills Required:
Civil Engineering design skills, working on Residential projects
Responsibilities:
- Develop both conceptual and detailed designs for civil infrastructure projects, engaging with diverse clients nationwide.
- Interface with external stakeholders such as Highways and Sewer authorities, as well as utility services companies, to craft cost-effective solutions for our clientele.
- Attend meetings with Local Authorities and Drainage officers to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Contribute to the management, growth, and mentorship of fellow members within the Civil Team.
- Proactively engage with clients on a daily basis to address needs and concerns.
- Act as the company’s representative during onsite and project meetings.
- Utilize AutoCAD, PDS, and Micro Drainage software in project execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- HNC or degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Possession of a clean driving license.
- Proficiency in communication and effective workload management.
- Familiarity with Windes and Microdrainage software.
- Experience in Sewer Hydraulic design for residential housing schemes.
- Knowledge of S38 / S104 / S218 regulations and Highways design.
