Senior Buyer – Furniture

We are working with a successful retailer, who is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their dynamic team.

The Senior Buyer will be working in their homewares department.

Senior Buyer Responsibilities

• Carrying out research into trends and competitors and creating regular SWOT analyses to ensure ranges are competitive and commercial.
• Liaising with factories overseas and monitoring deliveries.
• Approving lab dips and strike offs, as well as managing the sample process and signing off on red and gold seals.
• Analysing and monitoring sales, identifying what is selling well and what isn’t, and taking appropriate action based on this.
• Developing ranges from initial concepts through to product launch.
• Managing a team of Buyers, JBs, and ABs.
• Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Buying.

Senior Buyer Additional Information

This position is full-time in the office, and the successful candidate must have previous experience working in homewares.
