What’s this role about?

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager who can help us to expand our Payments vertical in Europe.

You will get the chance to:

  • Serve as the trusted advisor selling IT Professional Services to potential clients.
  • Identify potential target clients through lead generation strategies.
  • Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle focused on the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
  • Negotiate, manage, and close strategic new business deals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Execute strategies for farming and growing large existing accounts.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of the industry to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Exceed your personal financial goals by growing your book-of-business.
  • Participate in speaking events, workshops, panels, and conferences.
  • Participate in external industry events.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Significant years of new business development experience focused on selling offshore/nearshore IT Professional Services.
  • Ideally , solid experience within the Payments industry or at least a deep interest in this vertical.
  • Solid experience leading strategic new business development initiatives.
  • Sales-driven professional with hunter-centric sales experience.
  • Strong ability to identify industry pain points to engage decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in new business development.
  • Experience preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and statements of work.

Additional Requirements:

Travel is an integral part of this role. The individual will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed (valid passport/driving license required). Work-related tradeshows or live events may require occasional lifting of 25 pounds.
