Senior Business Analyst – Central Nottingham / Hybrid

£50,000 – £60,000 + bonus, 35-hour work week and great benefits

This profitable and growing organisation requires an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their delivery team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of Business Analysts while also identifying opportunities to improve the business analysis service. You will have the experience and know-how to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team by implementing changes.

The current vacancy is for a large organisation that has achieved year-on-year growth for over a decade and has a significant project pipeline for the coming years. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will ensure that the team\’s business analysis activities adhere to industry best practices and standards, delivering measurable benefits to stakeholders.

The role requires a maximum of 2 days per week in the office, ideally at their head office in Nottingham.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Business Analysts
  • Reviewing and analysing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes, documenting ‘As-Is’, ‘To-Be’, and ‘Gap’ analyses
  • Translating complex business and technical issues into understandable concepts for all audiences
  • Liaising with various functions within the business to facilitate implementation of new or improved operational processes, systems, and tools

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a BA role
  • Team leadership, management, and mentoring experience
  • Analysis of system requirements, business process modelling/mapping (using BPMN), methodology development, data analysis and modelling, and wireframing
  • Experience creating Use Cases, User Stories, Activity Diagrams, and documenting Acceptance Criteria using MoSCoW
  • Process and Business Improvement
  • Experience developing storyboards and/or proof of concepts
  • Operational experience
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
