As a scale up, the engineering organisation will grow considerably by end FY23, expanding beyond that as we prove our capability. We seek ambitious product engineers (not just software developers) with experience in cloud-native approaches that can shape our platform strategy and accelerate our product development plans.
Join us on a pivotal 3-4 month initiative aimed at revolutionizing our platform’s security infrastructure. As a Product Engineer specializing in security and authentication technologies, you will play a crucial role in migrating our cloud-based treasury management system to a modern Identity Provider (IDP). This fixed-term project is designed to enhance our platform’s authentication processes, bolster security, and streamline user access through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Your expertise will guide the transition to a sophisticated authentication system, leveraging OAuth, Single Sign-On (SSO), and the latest in security protocols to protect and modernize our microservices architecture.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focused Project Delivery: Directly contribute to a critical, short-term project to overhaul our authentication systems, ensuring the initiative is completed within the set timeframe.
- Modern Authentication Expertise: Implement and refine advanced authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and SSO, aligning with modern security practices.
- Microservices Security: Secure our microservices architecture, emphasizing robust access control and identity management through the integration with a third-party IDP.
- Solution-Oriented Development: Work independently and as part of a dedicated project team, transforming complex security requirements into high-quality, engineered solutions using C#, .Net Core, and SOLID principles.
- Documentation and Training: Produce comprehensive documentation and example code for authentication flows and security protocols.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Strong background in .Net Core, with a solid understanding of .Net Framework. Experience with modern IDP solutions such as Auth0 or Curity is highly regarded.
- Security Specialization: Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing secure authentication solutions within a microservices architecture, including OAuth and SSO protocols.
- Agile Methodology: Fluent in Agile practices, with the ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic project environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
