Job Summary
Our client is a leading global real estate investor with significant capital to deploy across the UK and Europe. As part of the group’s growth plan, they are looking to hire a Senior Analyst in their Real Estate Investment team London to support deal execution on European real estate transactions with a focus on the Nordics.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting deal execution on European real estate transactions, primarily focused on the UK, Nordics, Germany, and the Netherlands.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in different geographies and asset classes.
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies for European Real Estate markets.
- Support deal activity in financial modelling of potential deals, designing and maintaining underwriting models.
- Assist in analysing, structuring, negotiating and recommending new deals.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
- Support transaction execution workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation.
- Support asset management activities relating to existing investments.
Background and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor degree (1st or 2:1), ideally in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Minimum 1-3 years experience working in a real estate team within an investment bank or private equity firm.
- Deal experience in value-add and opportunistic strategies.
- Broad real estate sector experience.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organised.
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Native level written and spoken English.
- Fluency in a second European language is desirable, including Swedish.
