About Our Client:

My client is a luxury retail company specializing in high-end leather jackets. They have been in the market for many years and are looking to hire a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist on a temporary basis. The client is based in London, close to Kings’ Road station in the heart of Chelsea, and requires the candidate to work 5 days in the office.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Reconciliation of AR Ledger (line by line)
• Ensuring that incoming payments are accurately and efficiently recorded in the company ledgers and well reconciled with customer accounting
• Support in dealing with wholesale accounts to ensure efficient cash flow, including timely reminders and management of any upcoming issues, liaising with relevant internal departments
• Assist in performing credit risk assessments of old and new customers: collecting financial information, defining credit limits, payment terms, and ensuring any special conditions are correctly managed
• Support the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with internal procedures and deadlines
• Execution of various ad hoc tasks as requested

The Successful Applicant:

• Experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control in a fast-paced commercial environment, specifically AR Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Experience dealing with wholesale accounts in the retail sector is a plus
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to build positive relationships
• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting systems and reporting applications, with Oracle Netsuite being a plus

What’s on Offer:

The successful candidate will be paid £21/h to £24/h depending on experience.
