About Our Client

My client is a luxury retail company specializing in high-end leather jackets. They have been on the market for many years and are looking to hire a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist on a temporary basis. My client is based in London, close to Kings\’ Road station in the heart of Chelsea, but they are working 5 days in the office.

Job Description

Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist: Key areas of responsibility:

• Reconciliation of AR Ledger (line by line)
• Ensuring that incoming payments are accurately and efficiently recorded in the company ledgers and well reconciled with customer accounting
• Support in dealing with wholesale accounts to cash efficiently, including timely reminders and managing any upcoming issues, liaising with relevant internal departments
• Support with performing credit risk assessments of old and new customers: collecting financial information, defining credit limits, payment terms, and ensuring any special conditions are correctly managed
• Support the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with internal procedures and deadlines
• Execution of various ad hoc tasks as requested

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control in a fast-paced, commercial environment, specifically AR Balance sheet Reconciliation
• Experience dealing with wholesale accounts in the Retail Sector is a plus
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to build positive relationships
• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills

Technical

• Knowledge of accounting systems and reporting applications – Oracle Netsuite is a plus

What\’s on Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £21/h to £24/h depending on experience.
