As a Fibre to the Home (FTTH) Engineer, you’ll be on the front lines, connecting Londoners to the digital world. This is a field-based, customer-facing role, so your friendly demeanour and top-notch technical skills will be key.

You must have a valid SA001 – PIA Overhead Safety and S8 – PIA Overhead Cable Installation accreditation.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Connect London: Install FTTH broadband services, handling both external and internal cabling like a pro.
  2. Reach New Heights: Work comfortably at heights up to 15 meters, including on telegraph poles and ladders (don’t worry, we’ll provide the training and equipment!).
  3. Be a Customer Champion: Deliver exceptional customer service, leaving a positive impression with every installation.
  4. Take Pride in Your Work: Self-audit your installations to ensure they meet our high standards and exceed customer expectations.
  5. Safety First: Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations, including daily vehicle and equipment checks.
  6. Keep it Clean: Maintain a tidy work environment, respecting customer properties.
  7. Weather Warrior: Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions – London can be unpredictable!

Requirements

  1. Essential Certifications: Hold a valid SA001 – PIA Overhead Safety and S8 – PIA Overhead Cable Installation accreditation.
  2. Driving Force: A Full UK Driving License (held for at least 1 year with a maximum of 6 penalty points) is essential.
  3. Communication Superstar: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
  4. Problem Solver: Proactive approach to tackling engineering challenges.
  5. Customer Obsessed: A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  6. Flexible Friend: Willingness to work outside of core hours when needed.
  7. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using technology, including devices and apps.
