Job Description:

The role involves developing, evaluating, characterizing, and validating protein purification processes for monoclonal antibodies and other recombinant proteins, supporting transfer to pilot and GMP scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and design experiments with guidance from lead scientist
- Execute and deliver projects with attention to safety, quality, timeliness, and accuracy
- Escalate technical issues promptly
- Record experimental details, raw data, and results properly
- Analyze data to produce quality process information
- Participate as part of a cross-functional project team
- Prepare and deliver presentations, protocols, and reports
- Maintain up-to-date training
- Contribute to laboratory efficiency
Key requirements:
- BSc / PhD in Biotechnology or relevant scientific discipline with laboratory experience
- Knowledge of protein chemistry and purification
- Strong laboratory skills
- Experience with AKTA chromatography and ultrafiltration systems
- Effective communication skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Unicorn software
- Knowledge of GLP / GMP
- Experience with process transfer and scale-up to cGMP
- Understanding of GAP analysis methods
- Experience in process characterization/validation
- Operational excellence experience (e.g., 5S)
