Job Opportunity: SAP Basis Technical Consultant

Job Type: Contract

Start Date: ASAP – Subject to clearance

Duration: 18 months

Salary/Pay Rate/Benefits: Competitive Rate

Location: Reading

Hours of Work: 37 hours Mon-Friday

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong SAP Basis administration background
• Proficiency in SAP systems
• Experience with SAP systems implementation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance as a project subject matter expert and perform BASIS activities such as systems administration and launchpad configurations
2. Integrate and review application and architecture requirements
3. Contribute to decisions related to hardware and network security
4. Install and maintain SAP systems
5. Ensure system software is kept up to date
6. Optimize system performance
