Sample Coordinator

Spring Studios is looking to build up a freelance roster of sample co-ordinators. We are seeking candidates with previous experience in checking in samples within a fashion environment for a retailer or studio.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in joining a fast-paced agency, managing hundreds of samples across the ecommerce workflow. The position requires close collaboration with clients and is a vital part of the production team.

Job Description

We are building a freelance roster of sample co-ordinators experienced in managing samples in a fashion setting for retailers or studios. This role involves managing large volumes of samples within an ecommerce workflow, working closely with clients and supporting the production team.

Job Requirements

• Degree in fashion-related subjects is preferred but not essential.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the fashion industry, with a strong understanding of sample management processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Responsibilities

• Support production and clients in managing samples in and out of the building.
• Organize the sample room efficiently.
• Oversee the arrival of samples, checking them in via the FLO app.
• Ensure all shoot rails are prepared before shoot days and flag any missing samples to clients and production.
• Support QC/Production teams by updating shoot lists or rails during shoots.
• Coordinate samples for shoots and styling, ensuring correct styling is pulled and stored.
• Assist in evolving workflows with clients to implement best practices.
• Support styling teams with sourcing props for shoots.
• Manage weekly sample returns and bi-annual stocktakes.
• Assist the production team with monthly administrative tasks.
• Maintain good relationships with in-house stylists and Art Directors.
