Sales Ledger Administrator

Independently owned family business that manufactures top-quality products is looking for a Sales Ledger Administrator.

As a Sales Ledger Administrator, you will report directly to the Head of Finance for a family-owned business dedicated to crafting premium food items of the highest quality.

Working for this business will give you exposure to the finances of a quality food manufacturer. They excel at creating the perfect combination of taste, texture, aroma, and appearance, and are one of the fastest-growing food businesses in the UK.

This business manufactures products in volume and finishes them by hand using a combination of automation and artisan techniques, ultimately delivering great products with exceptional customer service.

Day-to-day responsibilities include raising invoices, ensuring timely dispatch of invoices, processing cash receipts, issuing credit notes, and making sales ledger adjustments, along with general housekeeping. You will also chase overdue debts, cross-check costs, and assist the accounts team with other accounting tasks.

This role is suitable for a professional with previous sales ledger experience who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You should have excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, a high level of attention to detail, and good problem-solving abilities. Experience working with major food retailers would be beneficial but is not essential.
