Job Description:

Overview

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures within the firm.

Key Duties (including but not limited to):

• Regularly review developments in regulatory requirements applicable to the firm and maintain an understanding of potential future legislative changes.
• Review compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are appropriate to the size and complexity of the business, meet all regulatory requirements, and are approved at partner level.
• Review compliance systems, policies, and procedures, and identify areas requiring follow-up or investigation.
• Review and monitor financial crime policies and procedures to ensure they are suitable and meet regulatory standards.
• Review and monitor risk and operational risk management strategies and policies.

Qualifications required:

• Degree educated and/or other relevant professional qualifications.

Experience required:

• 5+ years of experience working within the UK Financial Services market, with significant exposure to the general insurance industry.
• Good knowledge of FCA regulation is essential; knowledge of other regulatory jurisdictions is desirable.
