RGP ILE Software Developer

Job Responsibilities Software coding and unit testing in line with technical design and functional specifications. Undertake technical design for functional specifications from Business Analysts. Development of Test Specifications and coordination of test activities with the test team. Provide operational and technical support documentation. Deliver software development within agreed time scales, with formal communication of any changes to the Manager/Project Leader. Communicate software development progress to Business colleagues, especially when taking a lead role (e.g., Work Requests). Liaise with business users and end customers. Maintain and enhance IT Systems to meet standards of performance, reliability, and resilience. Assist support teams in fault finding and problem resolution of existing IT Systems. Provide technical assistance and evaluation for new IT Systems. Contribute to IT projects, either as part of a team or as a team leader. Qualifications and Skills Commercial experience with RPG ILE on IBM iSeries. Proven experience in software development within a specialized area. Experience working in a structured development environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
