Kingdom Services Group is working in partnership with a Prestigious Retail Client, and we have a great opportunity for a Retail Security Officer to join our team.

Where: Woking, GU22 area

When: We’re looking to get the right person into the team ASAP

Hours: On average 24 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Fixed Friday and Saturday 12:00pm – 8:00pm or 2:00pm – 10:00pm, plus an additional varying day Monday – Thursday 2:00pm – 10:00pm as per site rota.

Hourly Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

About the role:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises.
• Providing a visible deterrent within the store against theft, anti-social behaviour, violence, and criminal activity to create and support a safe shopping environment.
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Engaging with police and other security personnel to improve service levels – this may include crime partnership meetings, shop watch schemes, and police meetings.
• Dealing with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive, and professional manner.

About you:

• Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgment, and a keen eye for detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of SCONE.
• A valid SIA licence or having applied for one.
• A full five-year checkable employment history.
