Our client is looking for an Assistant Buyer to join their team. They are a leading global supplier of consumer products across apparel, home and lifestyle. Focusing on quality and design, they partner with top brands and retailers to bring unique products to the market.
You will be responsible for the department's sample and administration management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inputting buying information onto the range plan
- Preparing for key departmental meetings
- Assisting buyer on price negotiations
- Managing STD and BTA margins for each department
- Responsible for critical path management and progressing product lines
- Contribute to product fits
- Responsible for production selection and sample management
- Keep up to date with knowledge on market strategy, customer and competitor profiles
