A well-established and respected law firm in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its long-standing property team. This opportunity has arisen due to the planned retirement of a senior conveyancer, following a distinguished career of over 40 years in the legal profession.

The successful candidate will take over an active and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters and join a department known for its expertise, continuity, and commitment to making the moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients.

The Role

The role will cover a full range of residential property work, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Remortgages
  • Buy to let transactions
  • Shared ownership
  • Equity release
  • Option agreements
  • Adverse possession claims

There is also scope to be involved in property development matters, such as:

  • Purchasing development land via conditional contracts or option agreements
  • Section 106 agreements
  • Acting for local builders and private clients selling land for development
  • Handling subsequent sales of freehold and leasehold plots
