Job Purpose

Provide wraparound support to refugees and asylum seekers. As a Caseworker, you will offer intensive support and advice to a caseload of families, working collaboratively with relevant agencies. You will be part of a team supporting individuals and groups who have recently arrived in Flintshire, focusing on achieving positive outcomes aligned with the requirements of the Home Office, UK Government, and Welsh Government.

Knowledge and Experience

1. Experience providing advice and support related to Benefits, Housing, or Debt to vulnerable populations.
2. Ability to manage your own caseload independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions without constant supervision.
3. Strong knowledge of statutory and voluntary sector services.
4. Understanding of the needs of families and individuals moving to the UK.
5. Experience managing caseloads concerning Benefits, Housing, or Financial Capability.
6. Familiarity with UK benefits system, housing regulations, and financial management processes.
7. Ability to work effectively within a diverse team to ensure excellent client outcomes.
8. Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9. Flexibility to work hours that meet the service needs.
