The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the regional marketing team to initiate the development of product and marketing strategies at the EMEA level, developing EMEA Marketing plans and assets that work effectively in the region in order to gain category share in a profitable way and to improve our competitive position. You will therefore significantly contribute to the development of the EMEA annual financial plans and long-term strategic plans.
With the team you will work closely with the Global Brand teams and local Marketing teams to support the Brand/Category action plans and to ensure that the local marketing teams are strategically aligned with European strategies and initiatives as appropriate. You will also work closely with the EMEA Digital marketing team to build comprehensive digital media strategies for key campaigns.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Management of Fisher Price for the EMEA region, working with Global Brand Teams on the strategic direction, product and marketing strategies.
- Set brand and category objectives for EMEA and support local teams with implementing them.
- Monitor and review brand performance, gather insights from local marketing teams and regional Market Research & Insights Team, to evolve the approach across the geography.
- Line management responsibility for the regional IPS Team under the Category Lead. Support, coach, and develop team members to help them progress.
- Lead the development of Product Marketing plans, tactics & assets to be executed in the region, and manage A&P Budget.
- Responsible for the Brand/Category P&L; input into the Financial plan and lead line selection and pricing.
- Support as necessary in Supply Chain planning.
- Interact with the local Brand Marketing Teams, to monitor Brand performance in the different countries and support local strategy development.
- Coordinate & improve the information /communication between the Global Brand Teams, Regional and Local marketing.
- Manage regional agencies for media planning and any other key projects.
- Manage relationships with key licensors. Lead licensor business reviews and deliver licensor forecast.
Major on-going complexities:
- Work effectively within a matrix organisation and a virtual regional marketing team.
- Ability to build collaborative teams and communicate with impact.
- Manage relationships across Europe and with the Global Brand teams, as well as with external partners.
- Monitor performance and work with marketing and media teams to course correct where necessary.
- Partner with the Planning team and Global Brand team to ensure a smooth production and supply process to reach efficiencies of scale, including administrative tasks for new product lines.
- Quick understanding of broad industry categories & trends to provide insights to GBT.

Requirements:
- Significant commercial/marketing experience (10+ years) at a similar level within the Toy, FMCG or licensed consumer goods industry, as well as previous experience of managing a team. Toy industry experience is advantageous as well as someone who has worked across different markets in culturally diverse environments.
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or equivalent qualification.
