Job Opportunity: Refrigeration Technician

A well-established designer and installer of commercial kitchens is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Work primarily on commercial kitchen refrigeration appliances such as walk-in cold-rooms, freezers, cabinets, small blast chillers, and similar equipment.
• Serve clients mainly in schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, and large businesses.

Salary and Benefits:

• Circa £40,000 – £42,000 basic, with excellent benefits.
• Overtime pay: Time and a half for overtime, double time on Sundays and bank holidays.
• Additional benefits include: 22 days of holiday plus statutory days, increasing to 25 days over three years, with 8 bank holidays.
• Vehicle, mobile phone, and tablet provided.
• Major tools and testing equipment supplied; own hand tools required.

Location: East Midlands – Home-based role covering Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire (Postcode: NG2 3AQ).

Working Hours & Compensation:

• Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 for 40 hours, door-to-door.
• Call out: One in four.

Qualifications: C&G 2079 11, hydrocarbon refrigerants. No ammonia experience necessary.
