Join one of the most well-regarded food manufacturers in this role, which offers excellent career progression. Due to retirement, an opportunity has arisen at their site in Greater Manchester for a Quality Supervisor.

Reporting to the site Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising up to four members of the Quality team. Key responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring Quality system KPIs are achieved.
2. Effective closure and reporting of non-conformances.
3. Reporting trends and root cause issues and proposing remedial actions.
4. Supporting production in decision-making within the factory environment.
5. Maintaining internal system audit schedules and calibration schedules, and addressing non-conformances accordingly.
6. Ensuring the factory environment meets external audit requirements at all times, with this role being factory-based.

Additional daily tasks may include:

• Managing and conducting internal audits.
• Planning workloads, rotas, and task allocation.
• Briefing teams on targets, initiatives, and policy changes.
• Monitoring and reporting team performance and conducting individual appraisals.

To qualify, you must have:

• Proven leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience in a similar role within a Food or FMCG manufacturing organization.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• The ability to build relationships across all levels.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills for your own work and that of your team.
