Position: Project Structural Engineer
Type: Permanent
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Annual Bonus
This architecturally driven, independently owned design studio is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join their team. They offer a generous package, with flexible working, fully supported career development, and the opportunity to work on, develop, and lead some outstanding building structures projects in London alongside the Director.
You will act as the lead consultant on projects, providing civil and structural representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team, ensuring that the civil and structural requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.
To be considered, you will have a desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering design and mentor junior staff. It is essential that you have a real passion for architecture and excellent project delivery.
You will be able to apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures and manage the preparation of such calculations, being happy to develop them yourself on occasion. You will demonstrate the ability to break down complex structures into individual components to allow for element design and communicate this to colleagues.
You will be comfortable representing the company at both internal and external meetings.
