Job Description:

The Client Project team is an upbeat, dynamic team of 5 from a range of international backgrounds and cultures, operating to assist our clients and audience members worldwide. As a Project Management Apprentice, you will help ensure that our large range of advertorial and editorial projects, from webinars to press releases or interviews around scientific research, are handled successfully while managing internal and external requests following high customer service standards and processes. You will do this by:

  • Contributing to project management, ensuring the smooth delivery of client features by creating administrative tools such as spreadsheets, requirement forms and timelines
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, introducing new projects and assisting them with their requests, notably through emails and virtual meetings
  • Creating, developing and distributing marketing campaigns for all client projects, including the creation of webpages, banners, emails and social media posts
  • Analysing and reporting on specific projects and general strategy performance, and adapting marketing strategies according to data
  • Assisting the Sales team to encourage client relationships and retention

Throughout this 18-month Apprenticeship, you will be working towards a Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship qualification. You will spend 20% of your working week dedicated to training and learning via an accredited Training Provider and the remaining 80% will be spent applying your learning ‘on-the-job’.

To apply for this apprenticeship role, you must:

  • Be over the age of 16
  • Be living in England
  • Not be in full-time education
  • Not already have achieved a related qualification equal to, or higher than the Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship
  • Be able to attend our London office in-person, at least 3 days per week

Location: The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our Blackfriars, London office to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.

Qualifications:

What we are looking for from you:

  • Level 2, or higher, in English and Maths (equivalent to A*-C or grade 4-9 at GCSE)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise while keeping a strong sense of organisation
  • A clear interest in developing your skills in marketing with an enthusiasm for the world of academic publishing
  • You display good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You enjoy working in a very collaborative environment, sometimes at a fast pace
  • You are comfortable with splitting your time between working in person in our London based office, and working remotely from home.
  • You are computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc).

Additional Information:

Applications will close midnight on Monday 17th March 2025 and interviews will take place thereafter. Applications will be shortlisted on a rolling basis, so we therefore encourage you to apply at the earliest opportunity.

What we offer in return:

  • An excellent work-life balance with a fantastic, flexible working culture
  • 25 days annual leave per year, plus a day off for your birthday
  • 3 additional discretionary days off during the holiday season at the end of the year
  • 4 paid volunteering days each year
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering 24/7 well-being support
  • Life assurance, plus optical and medical care

Once you have submitted your application, we may get in touch with you for an initial screening conversation or ask you to complete a short video interview to enable us to better understand your skills, experience, and motivation. Following this, you will be invited to attend a competency-based interview, either virtually or in person. Typically, we’d then finish the interview process with a final, 2nd stage interview before extending an offer to the successful applicant.

We want all our candidates to shine in our recruitment process. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to ensure you are able to show us your best self. This could include having the application form in a different format, more time for questions, or anything else. Please ask us, we are happy to be flexible! Please contact should you wish to discuss further.
