An award-winning architecture and interior practice based in London Waterloo has a Project Architect job available! This position will see you working on high-end residential and commercial projects throughout London valued from £1m - £40m. This practice is also employee-owned and has great benefits available.
With over 15 years' experience on a wide range of projects across the UK and overseas, my client has built a reputation for producing exciting, contemporary architecture and interiors. Their portfolio includes bespoke housing, high-spec penthouses, high-end hotels, and small residential schemes. A range of mixed-use and non-residential projects also showcase their versatility.
Due to continued success and repeat clients, my client is now looking for a Project Architect with strong experience in delivering and leading projects!
Role & Responsibilities- Work on a variety of high-end residential mews properties and one-off apartments/penthouses, plus large apartment buildings and mixed-use schemes ranging from £1m to £40m in construction value.
- Work on projects throughout all RIBA stages, deliver projects, and lead teams throughout.
- Prepare and develop drawings, models and images, and other documents related to design.
- Work within a small project team.
- Use Revit / AutoCAD on a daily basis.
- Supervise more junior team members.
- Report to Associates and Directors.
- Qualified as an Architect with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
- Be confident in leading and delivering projects in the UK.
- Excellent graphic skills and 3D design ability - using InDesign, Photoshop SketchUp, and other rendering software.
- Experience working on bespoke high-end properties, mews houses, apartments/hospitality/heritage projects is essential.
- Must have strong design skills and high-quality bespoke detailing.
- Ideally, you will have worked in a small to medium-sized practice specialising in bespoke projects.
- Care and attention to detail involved in delivering the scheme or work packages.
- Ideally have experience working through all RIBA stages of a small, beautifully crafted project within high-end residential.
- A proficient user of Revit or AutoCAD, and must have used on live projects within the UK.
- Be presentable and confident with both client and contractor-facing responsibilities.
- Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.
