Our client, a global ESI player with a decade-long presence in the UK, is seeking a dedicated Project Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Team, Project Management team, and outsourced development resources to support various company product initiatives. Responsibilities include troubleshooting data sources, conducting research and development, maintaining project documentation, and providing general project support. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for learning. While experience in eDiscovery is beneficial, this is an entry-level position with training provided. Job Summary:

The Project Analyst will be responsible for communicating and working alongside the Product Team, the Project Management team and the company’s outsourced development resources. The project analyst will be responsible for working on company product initiatives, to help outsourced developers troubleshoot new or problematic data sources, as well as assist in research and development, product scoping and documentation. The project analyst will also be responsible for supporting the PM/PC teams with maintaining the project, advising on the use of company products, as well as providing general support for projects including processing data, running exports, and assisting the team with general eDiscovery tasks and support.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Liaise with outsourced developers by raising tickets for new features or bug updates
  • Assist in troubleshooting data alongside the development team for sensitive and confidential data that cannot leave the company’s secure environment
  • Conduct research and development into new features and needs of company products. Assisting with roadmap planning, and feature enhancements
  • Build, maintain and conduct quality control workflow for company products to ensure the accuracy of new features, and sign off on bug fixes
  • Maintain and develop further documentation for company products
  • Work alongside project management teams to assist in running projects including but not limited to the tracking and processing of data, data exports, and general support roles
  • Provide advice on the use of company products and communicate information effectively between relevant internal parties
  • Manage and communicate information effectively between the company and clients when needed
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of client deliverables
  • Handling of high-level hosting requests including:
  • QA support requests for dedicated cases to ensure correctness
  • Creating high-end reports
  • Prepare search term proposals and search term reports
  • Creating document batches from search results
  • Advanced Group/User Rights
  • High-level miscellaneous requests in hosting platforms
  • Professional and timely communication between the PM/Client and internal operations
  • Solve high-level data issues using eDiscovery applications
  • Ability to organize and delegate tasks across departments as necessary
  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Strong computer fundamentals preferably with IT experience
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and ability to prioritize and delegate.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Degree in computer science, IT or other related field is beneficial but not required
    • Experience or personal interest in coding, beneficial but not required
    • eDisclosure service provider experience is beneficial
    • Client management and project management experience in the legal industry
    • Continuously monitor, manage, and support multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to self-manage
