cer Financial are working alongside a bank based in the City of London. They are looking for a Programme Test Manager to work with them on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will provide the appropriate test management expertise for an EMEA wide SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation with consideration to existing SuccessFactors modules plus ServiceNow, Azure Active Directory and Bank systems. However the need for specific SuccessFactors experience is nice to have but not essential.

We are looking for a candidate who can lead people, can deal directly with senior stakeholders across the business and has dealt with Cloud applications, and cloud to cloud integrations (from across industries – although banking would be preferred.

You are responsible for developing, managing and executing the overall test plan of systems implemented or impacted by the programme. Providing expert Test Management advice to reduce development defects and provide assurance that risks associated with implementing new systems are accurately quantified and addressed.

The responsibilities of a Programme Test Manager will also include:

  • Analyse detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to develop testing strategies that reduce the risk of system outages and identify system defects
  • Manage the administration of testing scripts (including unit, integration, capacity, system, user acceptance and release) to maintain compatibility with existing applications, hardware and devices
  • Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project
  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
  • Responsibility for Defect Management (Record, Resolve, Re-Test)
  • Deploying and managing up to 5 resources for testing
  • Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
  • Planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for any given engagement.
  • Prepare and submit detailed test reports to describe testing outcomes for management tracking

The successful Programme Test Manager will have:

  • Prior SAP SuccessFactors experience is a beneficial (ideal modules Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruiting, Reporting, Compensation and Goals/Performance) but not essential.
  • ServiceNow experience is preferred with HRSD and/or IRM modules but not essential
  • Proven experience of Cloud integration testing, point to point and SF HRIS Synch regression testing is highly desirable
  • Hands on experience with ETL Testing projects
  • Previous HR process experience.
  • Experience with migration from other systems to SF and integration to other apps/systems.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills, strong Excel and process mapping skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities while multitasking and aligning activities.
  • Good knowledge and experience of financial services, markets and banking activities and the surrounding regulatory framework especially in HR
  • Ability to lead rather than manage, to set the vision for the testing workstream, gain team and organisational buy-in, anticipate and resolve conflict, motivate, negotiate and coach so that project objectives are met;
  • Strong, effective communication and interpersonal skills including diplomacy in offering challenge
  • Practical and willing to get involved in tasks, when necessary, to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Ability to work to multiple deadlines and under pressure
