As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for keeping the production department running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll lead and support teams across mixing and packing, ensuring targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of production, ensuring smooth collaboration between departments.
  • Manage supervisors and employees to deliver daily production plans effectively.
  • Prioritise breakdowns and work closely with the engineering team to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure the right balance of resources, including agency workers and overtime requirements.
  • Maintain high GMP standards across all production areas.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
  • Support training and development for supervisors and production staff.
  • Help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and complaints.
  • Champion health & safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure KPI reporting is completed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct investigations and disciplinary procedures when necessary.
  • Ensure site security when required.
