Lockton is currently recruiting a Product Owner to join the team in London, responsible for our flagship platform, Assure Broking .

Role purpose

The Product Owner will define and execute the short- and long-term vision and strategy for Lockton\’s Assure Broking platform. They will collaborate with the UK and European business units, Technology, Digital divisions, and delivery partners to promote adoption and enhance the platform to support Lockton’s growth and strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Digital , this role is crucial for the platform\’s future strategy and delivery. While primarily focused on UK/European operations, parts of Lockton International may consider this platform in future years, making the Product Owner a key expert with significant potential benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Own the roadmap and strategic vision for the platform.
2. Manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategy, prioritization for maximum value, and clarity of requirements.
3. Partner with Business and Technology teams to develop and communicate the product\’s strategic vision, gain buy-in, and manage expectations.
4. Collaborate with third-party teams to shape the product according to Lockton’s needs and market requirements.
5. Communicate the product vision across the business and technology teams, ensuring understanding of goals and requirements, and oversee development cycles.
6. Engage with users for feedback on features, usability, and future development ideas.
7. Coordinate with teams such as Training, Marketing & Communications, and Operations.
8. Manage launch activities and business adoption processes.
9. Track performance metrics and manage the product pipeline and backlog.
10. Require previous experience as a Product Owner or Manager.
11. Desirable: Insurance experience, knowledge of the London Market, and experience in driving adoption of corporate applications.
12. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills are essential.
