I have been instructed by a top firm in the West Midlands known for high quality work, as well as a having one of the best workplace cultures in the region, on an incredibly exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client solicitor to take their first step into a formal leadership position.

My client is looking for a Private Client legal professional (CILEx or Solicitor) to join the team as a director in their highly rated department. Previous formal management experience is not necessarily required, making this an exceptional opportunity for a legal professional (6+ PQE) to make this first step up to a director level position.

The successful candidate will play a significant role in the department and will be an active voice in decisions relating to hiring, strategy, growth, and business development. This is still a fee-earning role, and so the successful applicant can also expect to take on a caseload consisting of:

1. Bespoke will drafting
2. Wealth management
3. Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax planning
4. Probate and Estate Administration
5. Trust structuring, restructuring, and administration
6. PoA and Wills & Probate Work

Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 depending on experience
