We are looking for a Private Banker to grow a book of high net worth clients and lead their complete banking relationship with Weatherbys. This role offers an opportunity to start building your own client base as a Private Banker, providing a platform to develop your career and portfolio.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
You will build and manage a portfolio of private banking clients, focusing on lending, deposit volumes, and generating income from products like foreign exchange, investment, and wealth planning.
- Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing tailored banking relationships.
- Provide regulated advice on lending and investments.
- Develop long-term relationships to understand and meet clients\’ banking and wealth management needs, driving revenue growth.
- Aim for net portfolio growth from existing and new clients.
- Ensure compliance with risk, FCA regulations, and internal standards.
- Introduce clients to the Weatherbys Wealth Planning Team when appropriate.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven ability to build a client book of HNW/UHNW clients within the UK market.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with high net worth clients, proactive and innovative.
- Strong technical banking knowledge, with CeMAP or IAD qualification, or working towards it. PCIAM is a plus.
- Good understanding of global economic and political conditions and their impact on clients.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial accounts effectively.
