This role involves working on Heat Network (HN) and wider Distributed Energy (DE) projects or programmes. Distributed Energy includes low to zero carbon heat and power networks, solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, demand flexibility, smart and vehicle-to-grid charging. The ideal candidate will have experience in project development for schemes involving heat networks, local energy networks, smart grids, and integrating with home EV charging or battery storage.
Team Overview: Part of our Sustainability Team, focusing on energy consumption, carbon emissions, and environmental sustainability. We serve housing associations, public sector, and commercial clients, providing services like city/regional carbon reduction, net zero strategies, GHG reporting, energy savings assessments, and ISO 50001 implementation.
Qualifications: Seeking experienced professionals with competencies including:
- High-quality service delivery and client management
- Consultancy experience in DE and HN projects
- Successful track record in facilitating DE schemes and meeting KPIs
- Knowledge of DE technologies and solutions
- Customer relationship development skills
- Understanding of metering, billing regulations, and government policies
- Programme management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of energy demands and relevant regulations in buildings
Preferred skills include business development, stakeholder engagement, energy strategy development, and data analysis for DE projects.
