As part of the growth of the Arcadis Digital Advisory team, there is a need for a Principal Consultant to lead on the delivery of digital client projects/commissions and support the development of the Digital Asset Advisory team. Digital Asset Advisory sits within Digital Advisory. This role is a delivery and client-facing role with responsibility for managing the delivery of projects and workstreams, supporting the growth of the Digital Advisory capability, and supporting the pursuit of Digital Asset Advisory opportunities within the FM space.
Responsibilities include:
- Generating high-margin and consulting sales by identifying, selling, and delivering propositions including sector core services.
- Leading exceptional client outcomes across multiple, complex capability areas and commissions.
- Highlighting Arcadis thought leadership to the business and clients.
- Championing diversity, inclusion, well-being, and embedding these within Business Advisory.
- Making a positive difference in the world and improving quality of life.
- Supporting community and non-project initiatives that positively impact talent retention and attraction.
- Ensuring timely completion of timesheets and sales pipeline updates.
- Delivering sales targets through identification and conversion of new opportunities.
- Leading and delivering workstreams and small to medium projects (up to 4-6 people), achieving project and individual objectives.
- Promoting Arcadis values and maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Managing up to 3-4 team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Consulting Experience: Managing diverse stakeholder groups, including executives, clients, and external partners.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in verbal and written formats.
- Experience managing projects with teams of 4-6 people and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Ability to identify client challenges and provide strategic solutions.
- Commercial and Sales Experience: In developing and converting sales pipelines for growth.
- Proven success in delivering projects that meet financial targets.
- Experience supporting business development and bid processes.
- People Experience: Fostering collaboration, wellbeing, and respect within teams.
- Supporting personal growth and managing performance through mentoring or coaching.
- Technical (Digital FM Advisory) Experience: In relevant industry sectors such as buildings, government, defence, etc.
- Knowledge of data standards for Facilities Management (e.g., ISO, FMS).
- Understanding of enterprise asset management and facilities management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
- Knowledge of asset and facilities management principles (e.g., ISO, SFG20).
- Ability to develop system architectures and establish governance strategies.
- Experience in digital transformation projects from conception to deployment.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
