Principal Arboricultural Consultant, Northamptonshire
This role is with a professional consultancy specializing in trees, woodland, and the natural environment, offering services from environmental planning to garden design with a cohesive team of experts.
Your new role
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality arboricultural advice, conduct surveys, prepare reports, and support project delivery and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in arboriculture for client projects.
- Conduct tree surveys and assessments, including condition, hazard, and risk evaluations.
- Prepare and review arboricultural reports and management plans.
- Advise on tree protection, planting, and preservation plans.
- Coordinate with team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
- Assist in business development and marketing efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in arboricultural consultancy, preferably in residential or land development sectors.
- A degree in arboriculture, forestry, or related field.
- Experience conducting various tree assessments.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
