Job Description:

My client is one of the world’s leading precision timing ICs manufacturers. To complement their growing ASIC team, they are looking for an experienced analog IC designer with the skills and enthusiasm to significantly enhance my client’s competitive position by delivering robust, high-performance custom analogue and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

About The Job

As the Principal Analog design engineer, you are expected to hit the ground running (product familiarization is provided) in minimal time. To champion our leading-edge technology, you need to be an innovative circuit designer capable of starting from scratch. You will work with other senior to principal level engineers to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute specialist IC guidance and design input to the development of the Product Roadmap, new device specifications, and technology node selection.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to determine optimal system partitioning, ASIC specifications, and architectures.
  • Devise robust circuit solutions for complex functions and control schemes to achieve target system performance.
  • Capture schematic designs following the standards set by the design team.

Ideally, you will have:

  • 10+ years of industrial analog design experience with a proven track record using mixed BJT and CMOS technologies across several ASICs.
  • Extensive experience developing high-performance custom analog ICs that have been produced.
  • Expertise in Cadence tools for schematic capture, simulation, and layout.
  • Deep knowledge of analog circuit design, theory, and practice in CMOS and Bi-CMOS technologies.
  • A degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English.
